DIDs are a core component of the W3C’s Verifiable Credentials standard and enable secure, private, and verifiable digital identity. When you first onboard to the T3N Network, the network automatically generates your unique did:t3n identity. Every entity in the network whether a human user or an AI agent is assigned a unique Decentralised Identifier (DID). The format of a DID in T3N is: did:t3n:<unique-id>. Key properites and uses include:
  • It’s a permanent address on the network, linked to authentication methods and permissions.
  • Used to access and manage your data and TEE contracts.
  • Only binded to one user profile or agent.
  • Each DID can hold a T3N token balance.
